Measuring Guide

All of our clothes are made to each child's individual measurements, as no 2 children are the same! Very often we have a child who is over 12 but has the body of a small child so we only charge small size price and the same for the reverse. The following are meant as a guide to help you order the right size so you only pay the right price!

Below the guide are the measurements you need to take so we can make each garment to correctly fit your child. These measurements can be put in the “Comments” box on the order form or emailed to us after.

We recommend using a soft tape measure and in our experience it is easier to measure your child when they are lying down, a good time is after a bath when they are most relaxed! Measurements can be in inches or centimetres… whichever you prefer. If you need any further help in how to measure your child then please email us.

Togs4Sprogs: These are by sizes of High Street Clothing and are for guidance of what size to order:

Small: approx age under 7yrs,

Med: approx age 7 - 11yrs

Large: 12 - 14yrs

Togs4Teens:

Small: approx chest size: 28” – 32”

Waist: 23” – 25”

Hip: 28” – 32”

Medium: Chest 34” – 38”

Waist: 26” – 28”

Hip: 34” – 38”

Large: Chest 40” – 42”

Waist: 30” – 32”

Hip: 40” – 42”

Ex Large: Chest 44” +

A) Strip proof /All-in-one Bodies / Swimsuits:

Nape of neck -under crotch and hip (over any continence pads), chest, waist.

B) All - in - one Play-suit / Feed Friendly Suit/ Dungarees

Nape of neck -under-crotch (over any continence pads) chest, waist, hip, inside leg seam to ankle or calf depending on chosen length, shoulder to ankle or calf, if sleeves are required: round arm above elbow, shoulder - elbow.

C) All-in-one PJ’s / All-in-One Fleece Sleep suit:

D) All Trousers:

Waist, hip, inside leg to ankle or calf depending on chosen length, waist - crotch (over any continence pads), waist to chosen length.

E) Skort / Skirt / Shorts

Waist, Hip, Waist – finished length, round thigh (for shorts also please measure waist - crotch over any continence pads).

F) The Mock Pock Top

Measuring: Chest, length of sleeve, position of pocket, Nape to finished length required .

G) The Weighted / Wriggle Proof Waistcoat

Measuring: Chest, Waist, and nape of neck to just below waist.

H) Ocean / Oscar / Fleece Coat / School Shirts / Polo Tops

Measuring: Chest, waist, nape to hip or length required, underarm – finished length, underarm- wrist, round upper arm.

I) Summer Dress / Gymslip / Summer Cotton Popovers:

Chest, Waist, nape of neck to required length, shoulder to required length of sleeve (for dresses).

J) Tuggs:

Length and width of sole of foot please mention if your Childs foot is particularly narrow or wide.

K) Hats for All Heads:

Circumference of head and any other necessary measurements.

L) Wheelchair/ Major Buggy Inserts

Measuring: width and depth of back of buggy/ wheelchair, width and depth of seat of buggy/ wheelchair. If it has a panel on front (like swifty) that has to be measured too.

M) Pop On Cozy Toes

Measuring: back of seat length and width,

2) Seat edge to footrest and width,

3) Length and width of foot rest

4) Footrest to Childs knees and up to Childs waist

5) Back width of buggy wheel chair from corner to corner where back meets seat
